Explore Pronouns Without
the Pressure
Hear the Pronouns You're Considering Through Real Conversation
OUR PRONOUN PILOT IS NOW FULL
Thank you so much for your interest! We’ve now reached capacity for this round and aren’t able to accept any new participants at the moment.
If you’d still like to register your interest, you’re very welcome to complete the form below. We’ll be in touch if we run a second pilot later this year.

This TransFocus pilot project is designed for people who are curious about using different pronouns but want a lower-pressure way to hear them used in everyday conversation.
After completing a short intake form, you'll receive personalized audio recordings (approximately 3–5 minutes each) within 1–2 weeks. In these recordings, El and Kai will casually talk about you using the pronouns you'd like to explore in realistic workplace, social, or everyday situations.
You won't need to attend any meetings or participate in the conversations yourself. Simply sign up, receive the recordings, and notice what stands out to you as you listen.
Sometimes pronouns feel different out loud than they do in writing. Sometimes comfort changes depending on context, familiarity, or who is speaking. This project is designed to create space for that exploration without pressure to already have everything figured out.
Pilot Availability
We will be accepting 10 participants for this pilot on a first-come, first-served basis.
If the pilot reaches capacity, you're welcome to register your interest in future rounds by emailing [email protected].
What Participation Can Look Like
Depending on your comfort level, participation might include:
✓ Personalized audio clips where we casually talk about you using the pronouns
you’re considering
✓ Exploring how pronouns feel in different contexts (e.g., friends, workplace, strangers,
group settings, etc.)
✓ Optional post-listening reflection prompts about what felt affirming, uncomfortable,
surprising or unclear
✓ Optional opportunities to contribute anonymously to future educational content about
pronoun exploration and respectful mistake recovery
A Note Before You Begin

This project is exploratory and imperfect by design.
The goal is not to “get it right” immediately or pressure anyone into certainty, but to create space to hear different pronouns in practice and notice how they feel over time.
Because these are real conversations, we may occasionally make mistakes, stumble over words, or need to correct ourselves — and that’s part of the process too. We want to model that respectful correction and moving forward can be normal, human, and low-pressure rather than something shameful or catastrophic.
Our pilot project is now full, but you are more than welcome to complete form below and we will be in touch if we run a second pilot!
✓ No certainty required
✓ Use a real name or pseudonym
✓ Participate privately or anonymously
✓ Pause or stop anytime
✓ Public sharing is always optional
